Thank you EVERY ONE for your kind words the last couple of days. Grad school starts back up for me next Tuesday which means I am crazy busy trying to get things done at work and at home this week. I have received calls from EVERY family member of mine as well as Derek's and everyone wants DETAILS...I've got nothing! I keep telling everyone I will need time to think about what we want and then politely listen to all their "suggestions". I can already tell this is going to be a LONG engagement!!
The only things I know for sure...
1) Rosie WILL BE a flower girl, and the cutest darn one ever!!
2) I want a winter wedding
3) I don't want ANY drama!!!
So if you want details, this is what I have for you today!! I am sure things will come together quickly once the initial engagement sinks in!
I called my so called "best bud" from high school last night to tell her, or more so break the news to her. It went as I expected. I said "I'm engaged" and she replied in a not so pleasant way "WHAT? I NEVER would have expected YOU to be engaged before ME!" Maybe I'm wrong thinking this, aren't your friends supposed be excited with you about these sorts of things. Seriously, she doesn't even have a boyfriend...what is so wrong with me that I wouldn't get engaged??? ERRRR...I just about started crying, luckily my true friend was waiting for me to call and tell her how it went, she pointed out what I already knew. I'm over it today, kind of.
On another end, yesterday was WI, I was the same old, same old 127. I am back on track though and will hopefully get these last pesty pounds off by Halloween (seems achievable)!
NSV for me...I LOVED myself in almost all the 3-day pictures including the one I am wearing a spandex shirt in. I don't have a flat stomach, but I wasn't uncomfortable AT ALL! Also, I didn't look in a mirror once that whole weekend. I had one with me, but I didn't ever feel like I needed it. That is HUGE for me!
A couple goals for this week:
1) Follow Wendie
2) Drink 70 oz. of H20 every day
3) Track calories on spark people
4) get some new types of foods in (especially breakfast)
5) At least 1 AP everyday

Your "best bud" may have been related to my used to be "best bud". Sorry that didn't go so well, but you know how she is. :) WE are thrilled for you so that is all that matters!
I forgot to mention this is one of my other comments but you are so THIN!!! And the thinnest in those pictures too! That's awesome for you!! And a great NSV to actually like yourself in pictures! That's amazing!
I'll send you the document, there are actually some breakfast ideas in there.
Yay for winter weddings! I had one(Feb.) and it was great. All the vendors were open and it was awsome. Just remember to BREATHE and do what makes YOU and your fiance happy, no one else. Unfortunately drama finds you when there is a wedding, dunno why but it does. Just remember what is important and who is getting married.
Enjoy your engagement! And ask for help from those you trust when you need it. If you email me at swizzzlepop @ gmail.com I can send you my personal tips for the new bride based on my experience and drama.
127, you are my goal weight! :) You are doing aswesone and the fact that you totally maintained is great! Great NSV too. WOOHOO!
Wow, I go on vacation and miss all the excitement. Congrats on your engagement I am so happy for you.
I think that was very romantic how Derek proposed. What a guy you have!
