Alright so yesterday was an interesting day to say the least. I was crazy busy at work, but managed to do a little research. Steph got me started thinking about this Wendie plan, which I have heard about and thought about trying for a while. I did my little research on it and essentially it is the same as the Flex plan only it splits up your flex points over the week for you. I decided I would try it since I have troubles staying under my 18-19 points everyday. Yesterday was my first day with 25 points, I hit it perfectly. Today is 20 points, I have my breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner planned out with one extra point available to play with. I brought 4 of my 5 veggie/fruit servings with me to work and have another 2 servings planned into dinner. I am hoping this little change in my plan will get me excited again and I will see some results again. I guess I am "tricking" my body...heehee, I kind of feel like Colette, tricking the food world!
Okay so back to life again, last night between the line and the laxatives we also came home to an AC that isn't working. Heat doesn't really bother me, but humidity kills me (and my hair BTW). The thermostat read 94 degrees...eek, my poor kitty was sprawled out on the tile floor. I had good intentions of running on the treadmill and used the AC as a bit of an excuse not too. I actually had a ton of stuff to get done so all and all it was probably a fair trade. The good news is, Derek is a handy and brilliant man and he fixed whatever was wrong, while I ran my errands in the AC retail shops! I found a really stylish waist pack with pink water bottle to carry on my walk as well as socks with pink ribbons on them and a fuchsia pink sports bra. I am ready for this thing, well at least I have the right clothes! We have t-shirts being printed for the 3 of us, I will for sure take pictures and post them after the walk. I am getting really excited if you can't tell by last couple of posts!!
Okay, last thing. One of my best friends Dad is having a kidney transplant today. He is young and healthy and the doctors have said he is a prime candidate. If you have a spare minute say a prayer for his surgery and recovery. I remember when my Dad had his surgery to have his cancer removed and how scary it was for me. I know how she probably feels and I am here for her.

OMG that line thing is so weird. Glad it's gone and that you were able to figure out what it was. Of course now I am going to be checking for the same thing because as with so many other things that seem to affect a lot of us in this community I haven't "gone" in like 2 days and I am typically very regular (with a little help). Glad you're back to normal though.
Sending good thoughts to your friend's dad. I hope he comes through with flying colors!
yeah, that line thing is really weird. I'm glad it's gone and that you've gotten a little "relief". lol.
I'll be praying for your friend's dad today. Keep us informed, okay?
Have a great day!
That line thing is odd. I am glad you got some relief and it went away! I completely understand about not taking the laxative b/c you don't want your body to depend on them.
I can tell you are so excited about the walk. What are the parameters? Do you have to do 20 miles each day? Or can you do a little more the first day? Is there a time limit for each day??
I'll be praying for your friends dad. Keep us posted on his progress. :)
I can't wait to hear how the walk goes! You are amazing!!
