Well I made it to the finish line, all 60 miles! Just as I crossed the final leg Derek jumped out of the crowd and got down on one knee. I was so tired and anxious to get to the final scan that I tried to keep walking (I didn't know what he was doing). It finally set in and I said "yes" (well I think I did). He tried to get the ring on my finger but since it was so swollen it only got to about my knuckle. It was a great finish to a great weekend.I am in a lot of pain still, new parts of my body hurt everyday. I am trying to take it easy and get my muscles rested. I'm really not in as much pain as I thought I might be. I made it through the sixty mile with just one small blister on the third day. My knee did give me a lot of troubles but with some adjustments and a borrowed knee brace I made it through. I have made an appointment to get in and have it looked at just to be safe. So many people have asked me "would you do it again"...I look back and think about my experience and know I WILL DO THIS AGAIN. We were part of a group of about 2,800 people who raised over 5.6 Million dollars because "everyone deserves a lifetime".
I don't have the pictures developed yet, but I will get them together and update a little more tomorrow. For now I am off to get some work done and take a few Ibuprofen. Have a great OP day everyone!!

I'm so proud of you on finishing the walk. I wore my pink on Friday (I only have 1 pink shirt!) and thought of you all day...actually I thought of you all weekend. I hope you recover quickly. Maybe see about getting a massage this week so they can work on your muscles. I had one after my half marathon and it sped up my recovery and I felt great afterwards!
