Do you ever find yourself so out of routine you almost feel like you are dreaming? This is how I have felt for the past few days..weeks. The house is a mess, dishes piled in the sink, cookies on the counter, blankets and pillows thrown on the couch, clothes scattered on the bedroom floor. I am usually very clean and can't even function if things aren't picked up around the house. I am just out of sorts though. I haven't even started to organize paperwork for the year.
I did spend a few hours organizing Wedding information on Saturday, so maybe if I just keep getting one thing done at a time I will eventually feel a bit more organized. Starting after next week I will only be in class one night a week so I am excited for that. I am so use to having class 4 nights a week I'm not sure what I will do with the extra time.
I have a follow-up appointment with the surgeon today. Hopefully she can give me some good news and tell me I am okay to go back to the gym. I don't even want to think about the backwards progress. I leave for Florida in 2 weeks and I know I will get plenty of walking, swimming and relaxing done there!
I did Weigh-in this morning all though I'm not very interested in the scale right now. So much is going on with my body right now it is jumping all over the place. I am making healthy dinners and packing good lunches so for now that is all that matters. Oh, but just so you know I was up 2 lbs. this morning...I'm not worried because I know I didn't gain 2 lbs. overnight. I now that I am retaining extra water and within a day or 2 I'll be back in my comfort zone.

I hope the follow up appointment goes well. You're right the 2 lbs. gained will be gone in no time.
I know what you mean about not being organized and how bleh it feels. I only had class one day this quarter and it was great. Next quarter is similar..although I do have class 2 times a week every 3 weeks. No biggie though!
So sorry that your routine is out of whack - I feel your pain (trust me!) but just remember that you just had major surgery and you need to give yourself some time to get back in the groove. You'll get there - don't worry!
As for the 2 pounds....I'm sure your body is freaked out right now with all the changes. I wouldn't even sweat that because before long you'll be healed and back in the gym anyway OR you'll be living it up in Florida.....LUCKY!!!
Hugs and feel better soon!
You are so encouraging! Thank you so much! :)
I hope your appointment went well and that you're feeling better.
When things are feeling out of control, all you can do is take one thing at at time. Set priorities and start at the top priority. It'll be back in control before you know it. Really!
