I've got news!!!!

This weekend was wonderful (other then the fact that I am still battling a horrible cough)! Saturday my two best friends drove up to go to the bridal shop with me. We tried on all the dresses and I have "THE ONE". I am totally in love with it and I cannot wait to have it. They took my measurements and I was shocked to hear my waist measurement of 28" I don't really know if that is great but to me it sounded fantastic!!! Dress shopping was followed with a great salad lunch and an intense workout!

I slept in on Sunday, I have had this horrible sore throat and cough for a few days now and it is keeping me up most of the night. I had good intentions of staying in on Sunday to start painting the house, but my sister called. We met up and went to a bridal fair in Minneapolis. I think I found a photographer and a cake designer!! Yippeee!!! It feels great to start checking off the "to-do's" on the planning list.

This is for you Steph! I'm not sure if I posted this yet, Rosie has figured out exactly where I keep my camera and whenever she comes over now she finds it sits on my lap and says "mile". We take a lot of pictures. She has also found my childhood "Bun-Bun" and carries him around saying "Bum-Bum mine". She is growing so much and her vocabulary amazes me! When she was first born I asked my sister to start working on sign language with her (I nanny for a young girl with a learning disability that affects her speech). I bought her several signing videos and I cannot tell you how awesome it is. Rosie knows at least 25-30 signs and she uses them! I definitely think this is a very cool trend for toddlers!

Let's see, what is new on the weight loss front?!? Well, I stayed OP over the weekend!!! It was difficult with all the free samples of wedding cake, but I stayed strong and only sampled on small piece! I will officially WI this Wed. morning!

Okay first of all - CONGRATS on the dress.........finding "the one" is almost as much fun as getting engaged - LOL! Then on top of finding the dress you find out that you have a 28 inch waist - WOW - OMG - WAY TO GO! You really do rock and you should be soooo proud.

So Rosie is sooooo insanely cute! Those cheeks are enough to make you totally fall in love with her - thanks for the picture. It totally brightened up a rather blah Monday!

Hugs to you and now we want to see pics of the dress!!

Sucks that you're not feeling well. Hope you feel much better soon! That's awesome that you were able to stay OP... I always do horribly when I get sick. Either I eat like 5 calories a day or a TON. There's no middle ground with me. :))

That pic of Rosie is SOOOOOOOOO cute. OMG, what a doll she is. *pinching her cheeks*

Congrats on finding "the" dress... that must take a lot of pressure off, right? I hope the rest of your planning goes smoothly for you!

ps. A 28 waist is TINY. Wow!

Congrats on finding THE DRESS and checking things off your list!

Rosie is too cute, I love that she already knows what the camera is and says "mile."

And WOOHOO in the waist size, that is great!

YAY on finding the one!!! How awesome is that!!! Are you going to post pictures?

LOVE the picture of Rosie!!

We did sign language with DS and he still knows the ones we taught him. We are going to teach more to this new one b/c we started late with DS. I think it makes communication so much easier when they are younger.

That is so exciting that you found the dress! Have you ever watched that show "Say Yes To The Dress" on TLC? I love it, it made me want to become a bridal consultant. It was probably a really fun experience for you and your girlfriends too.

The picture is adorable and I have to agree that I think sign language should be taught at an early age. I think it helps a toddler to communicate much more easily.

Oh, and you don't have to post this comment but I wanted to thank you for your comment about that sub. You probably saw the comment from the other blogger...not very supportive at all. I'm glad to have a few people (such as yourself) that are very supportive to me.

Not gonna lie: she kind of made me feel really really bad about the decision I made. Heck, I thought it was a good decision because I went over my target calories by like 100, that was all...

Oh well, I'm not gonna let it bring me down. I just wanted to thank you for the positive comment after what seemed like a beating! Thanks again!
