Getting into the Groove!

School starts back-up today. I'm not sure how I feel about it though. I love being in school, but it means 15 hour days and that is always hard on me. Somehow Derek and I managed to schedule our classes on opposite nights, when I have class he is at home and when he has class I am at home. It will be nice to have time to study alone but I will miss having him there to tell me I need to get on the treadmill or to count my reps with my weight training. We will make it work though.

I don't know what happened this weekend but it feels like I didn't get ANYTHING done! We had a Twins game Friday night. Saturday I went to lunch and shopping with my sister and Rosie. Sunday I had a going away party, and Monday we went to the State Fair. I really didn't think much about food this weekend. I ate when I was hungry and I made healthy choices with what was available. The scale wasn't up or down this morning so hopefully I see something tomorrow. At least I know I can maintain, right?!?

Well, I guess the engagement has set in...I am in planning mode. I spent a good portion of my weekend (this may explain why nothing got done) with my head buried in a pile of "bride" magazines. Nothing is in concrete but it did help to get an idea of what sort of reception places I can look at. The wedding is at least a year and a half (if not longer) away, but I am anxious for the planning. My sister had a planner made for me, it is personalized with our picture and everything...I will try to get a picture of it...very cool idea for a newly engaged couple!

Anyways, IT'S TUESDAY! I feel like I am a step behind already this week. I have so much going on at work, I will update you on all of that soon. For now, keep your fingers crossed I see SOMETHING on that scale in the morning. Hope you all have a great OP day!

I am sooooo excited to hear about your wedding plans! I just got married a couple of years ago and I totally lucked out in that my sis in law was a wedding planner.......made my life so much easier! One piece of advice from me - don't buy all the extra garb at the wedding dress shop - I found my veil on EBAY for $75 and it was $400 at David's Bridal.....they are soooo overpriced! Also have fun and take pictures.......I was so stressed out over my wedding that I didn't focus on what a cherished event it was going to be - I was more worried about wedding cake and dresses than focusing on what was really important! You are going to be the most beautiful bride ever and you are right, Rosie will be the cutest flower girl in the world!

P.S. My wedding was in January and it was sooo much fun.....we did like a winter wonderland theme with crystal snowflakes and glitter....lit trees and pine cones....I LOVED it and I got tons of compliments!

Glad to hear from you again! Having your head in a bridal magazine sounds like a lot of fun to me!
