The snow storm of the year!

Well, that's what was predicted at least. We were supposed to get 12-18" of snow today but so far all it's done is rain. The forecast looks a lot better and they are saying only 1-2" now. I guess I should be excited about that!?!
We are flying out to South Dakota this afternoon, so I guess the weather is in our favor. We really don't have much more info on Derek's Grandma, all we know is that she isn't doing great. Most of the family is meeting in SD this weekend to visit with her and help clean out the house (she will need to go to assisted living).
I wish I could say I am excited to go but really this trip is coming at a horrible time (when is it ever a good time, right). We will need to rent a car, plus hotel rooms for Friday and Saturday. Plus food, etc... I hate complaining about money and I know that we are fine its just been on my mind ever since the surgery/hospital bills started to fly in.
Work is crazy right now. We have 25 weeks left of the project and I know things will just get more hectic as it closes in.
On a happier note, just 38 weeks left until the wedding. Seems like a long time, but it should fly by! I've made it to the gym twice this week and plan to go on Sunday when we get back. The hotel has a small workout room so I might be able to run Saturday morning before everyone meets up, I guess it depends on what the plan is.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone and I will be back with more on Monday!! HUGS!

That sucks about having to leave for the weekend. I know it's hard, but later on you will be glad you went!

And be thankful about the lack of snow! Ouch!

I hope that Derek's grandma gets well and that ya'll have a safe and happy trip!
