I have good news, ugly news and bad news, but I'll start with the ugly since it all gets better from there!
Sunday morning we came home to standing water in our master bathroom and kitchen...yuck. I am blaming the stupid cat (I love him, but he is stupid). He must have knocked the bathtub faucet on and the water drained over the tub all night long. We got it dried up as best we could and have the insurance company coming out later this week to estimate the damage. At best we will need all the ceilings and floors in the main floor replaced.
The bad, I stress ate! I needed to get out of the house and I did just that. We went out for breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Luckily I wasn't hungry after that though and just stuck to a small snack before bed. Monday wasn't much better but I did say "no" to a donut as well as ice cream.
And now, the good news...since the beginning of April I have taken over 5 minutes off my 5K time! In all the craziness that was this past weekend I managed to make it to the gym 1x and I decided to see where I was at since the May Exercise challenge is nearing completion and I made a personal goal to take off time. I am hoping to run another one later this week to see if I am still hitting the same time.
Today is a new day and things are looking bright. I already have 4 glasses of water down, and 2 hours of softball planned after work. Hopefully WI tomorrow reflects today more then the weekend!!!

Wow and I thought my cat was smart because he can open the bedroom door - geez, flooding your house!! Hope everything works out okay.
So for the wedding stuff.....this may sound really hokey but I had the most creative wedding planner on the planet and we did centerpieces out of branches - we spray painted them white and then sprinkled glitter on them......then we hung tiny christmas balls from them in the different blues and silvers. Everyone loved them and wanted to take one home. Another thing that really helped me save money - I hit the after Christmas clearances....I found so much snowflake stuff for soooo cheap. I'm sure we saved at least a thousand dollars in decorations. Some my suggestions from a January snowflake themed wedding.
You should so come to Texas next year - that would be a blast!!
That's awesome about the 5k time! Sorry about your dumb cat. My cat fortunately doesn't mess with the faucet :)
I hope the water damage isn't that bad. Bad kitty! You may beed to start babyproofing/kittyproofing some stuff soon so that it doesn't happen again.
Great job on the 5K time, keep it up!
Sorry about the cat!! and the water damage! I've been there...it's NOT fun!
Congrats on shedding some time! That's AWESOME!!!
