This next month is going to be a challenge for me food wise. There are 2-3 "eating" events every week. The scale is starting to move down, but with weddings, dinner meetings, concerts and a week vacation planned I AM SCARED! I am trying to plan as much as I can, working out in the mornings to get some extra APs when I can, cooking meals and lunches at home so I don't waste any points, the hard part will be when I am faced with reception meals and wine and need to say "NO".
When I am not confronted with these challenges I am doing fine, I need to find a balance though. There will always be lunch with friends, dinner with clients, drinks and vacations. I need to learn to listen to what my body wants and what my body needs!

Oh those social meals are the toughest. You have a great plan though, keep all your other meals low Points, high energy, low fat, etc. And watch your portion sizes. Remember, you are the one that chooses what goes in to your mouth, you get to set the priorities. You can do this! And if the scale goes up a 1/2 pound the world won't end. You've got a lot going on right now. Stay balanced :)
You are rocking and I KNOW you can do it!!!
OMG....that's is exactly how I feel with my CBB (Cancun Birthday Bash) I am trying to get into shape for. It is still 80 some days away, but I am almost panicky that I won't be able to take the weight off before I go. SCARED &$$%less!!! to be blunt.
You can so do this - remember the only bites you will remember are the first and last anyway - the ones in between all taste the same.
Oh - I posted something for you on my blog - the cutest Halloween costume ever for Rosie!
Poor Rosie - no child should have to go through that especially so young. Talk about misery! I'll say an extra prayer for her speedy recovery and for your sister's sanity - trying to keep a little one from rubbing an infected eye is going to be quite the job!
Hope the wedding plans are coming along okay! I can't believe that it is less than 6 months away!!
That is such a hard thing to learn! We have to learn that life happens--regardless of what our weight loss situation is. There will always be holidays, special events, and dinners out with friends/clients. It's SO HARD to learn what you have to do and to keep doing it. You seem to be handling things well and you have a PLAN! That's key, I think!
What is the wedding date again? I know it's January...
